On the night of 6-7 June, Russian forces conducted an extensive overnight assault on Ukraine, deploying 215 weapons, with the most extensive damage caused in Ukraine’s second-largest city of Kharkiv.
The attack resulted in three civilian deaths and 21 injuries, including an infant and teenage girl.

Russian missile attacks on the Novobavarsky neighborhood of Kharkiv killed at least five people and injured 25 others, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said on May 31.
Russian forces attacked a multi-story residential building in the city of Kharkiv, killing one person and injuring 23 others, Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported. Another person, a security guard at a sewing workshop, was also killed in a strike at a different location within the city, Suspilne reported.
No details were provided on the other fatalities.

On April 20, an international delegation including the ambassadors of Denmark, Estonia, France, and Sweden, representatives of the UNDP, and Infrastructure Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, along with the MP Olena Shuliak visited Kharkiv, reported the press services of Kharkiv City Council and the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The delegates went to the destroyed by Russians Northern Saltivka [the largest residential area in Ukraine, located in the east of Kharkiv], critical infrastructure facilities, and an underground school in the Industrialnyi district of the city.
